Exp Minima - Privacy Policy


karmatic built the Exp Minima app as a Freemium game that may optionally connect to Soul Net for account continuity and backups. This SERVICE is provided by karmatic and is intended for use as-is.

This page explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you play Exp Minima or use Soul Net account features. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Who Controls Your Data

Exp Minima and Soul Net are operated by Karmatic Limited. Karmatic Limited is the data controller for the personal data processed through Exp Minima and Soul Net.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The app also uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

If you choose to create or use a Soul Net account, the following information may be collected:

• Email address (used for account login and password recovery)
• Securely hashed password
• Account identifiers
• Game backup data (such as save progress and world state)
• Technical identifiers needed to maintain sessions and backups

This information is used only to:

• Allow secure login to your account
• Restore saved progress and backups
• Send password reset or account-related emails
• Maintain service reliability and security
• Send optional promotional emails, only if you have opted in

In-App Purchases

Exp Minima offers in-app purchases. All payments are processed securely by third-party application stores (such as Google Play). We do not collect, process, or store your payment information, such as credit card details. We only receive verification receipts and purchase history to ensure your premium features and items are correctly unlocked and tied to your account.

Promotional Emails (Optional)

During Soul Net signup you may choose to opt in to receive occasional promotional emails from Karmatic, including news, game updates, and special offers. This option is unchecked by default and is never required to create or use a Soul Net account.

You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in any promotional email, or by emailing us at [email protected]. Transactional and account-related emails (such as password resets and security notifications) are not affected by this preference and will continue to be sent as needed to operate your account.

Third-Party Service Providers

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. This includes device advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID on Android, or the IDFA on iOS), which may be collected by our advertising partners to support advertising within the game. Where required by law or platform rules, we will request your consent before these identifiers are used for personalised advertising; otherwise, advertising will be served on a non-personalised basis.

We may also use infrastructure providers such as cloud hosting or email services to operate the Exp Minima service. These providers process information only as required to operate the platform and are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Soul Net Backups

Soul Net allows players to preserve their progress by storing backups of game state. Backups contain gameplay data only (such as save progress, world state, and in-game configuration) and do not include personal content beyond what is required to restore your game.

Backups are stored securely, are not accessible to other users, and can only be restored by the authenticated owner of the Soul Net account they belong to. They are used solely for the purpose of restoring gameplay progress and maintaining account continuity.

Account Deletion

Soul Net accounts are optional. If you have not created a Soul Net account, no account data exists to delete.

If you have a Soul Net account, you can delete it and its associated data at any time. There are three ways to request deletion:

• In the app: open Soul Net, then go to Support → Account Settings → Delete Account
• On the web: visit karmatic.com/games/exp-minima/account-deletion
• By email: contact us at [email protected] for assistance with deletion

Once a deletion request is received, your Soul Net account will enter a 30-day pending deletion period. During this time you can still sign in to your account as normal. Signing in does not cancel the pending deletion. To cancel, you must either cancel the request from within the app (Soul Net → Support → Account Settings) or email us at [email protected] from the email address linked to the account.

After the 30-day period ends, your account and associated personal data — including your email address, hashed password, account identifiers, game backups, and support history — will be permanently deleted. Once the 30-day period has passed, deletion is irreversible and backups cannot be restored.

A limited amount of anonymised or aggregated information, or records we are required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, may be retained after deletion.

Deleting your Soul Net account does not affect your local single-player progress. Your offline game data remains on your device and is not removed when your Soul Net account is deleted.

Support Requests

If you contact support from within the app or by email, we may collect your message contents, account identifier, email address, device and app information (such as operating system, app version, and device model), and timestamps. This information is used so that we can respond to your request, investigate issues, and maintain the quality and reliability of the service.

Support messages are retained only for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable follow-up period afterward. Support history associated with your Soul Net account is deleted when your account is deleted, subject to the limited retention exceptions described above.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify affected users without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law.

Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as to withdraw consent or request deletion of your account. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
